But actually an Oceanian, Paternal line (Melanesian, Micronesian dan Polinesia) also have a Y DNA Haplogroup C-130. Both Mongolian and Pasific Inlander share a common with M168 and P143. But why their physical appearance were extremely different to each others?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17782704383261192202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6886680068187530519.post-89841984359661926112016-09-19T16:58:15.981-05:002016-09-19T16:58:15.981-05:00I see. I agree that Genghis Khan is very much likely to belong to the specified modal haplotype of haplogroup C2 in the "Genghis Khan modal haplotype" paper after the publication of that paper, though it is not a conclusive proof.Onur Dincerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05041378853428912894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6886680068187530519.post-39897295107307733262016-09-19T16:56:37.401-05:002016-09-19T16:56:37.401-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Onur Dincerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05041378853428912894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6886680068187530519.post-78103705533097587682016-09-19T16:25:03.294-05:002016-09-19T16:25:03.294-05:00I wouldn't know. It's like the M222 Niall of the Nine Hostages haplotype in that it seemed to be based on the flimsy idea that its ubiquitousness and youth could only be the result of a warlord with a million kids.bellbeakerbloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01848982163843593127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6886680068187530519.post-74541785121967581372016-09-19T15:23:47.234-05:002016-09-19T15:23:47.234-05:00Has any one of the patrilineal descendants of vari...Has any one of the patrilineal descendants of various Genghisid dynasties taken a Y-DNA test? It does seem rather sensationalistic a second time, especially if known descendants appear to belong to haplogroup C.

bellbeakerbloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01848982163843593127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6886680068187530519.post-10882257493000241262016-09-19T13:55:48.551-05:002016-09-19T13:55:48.551-05:00I read the paper. Actually they only establish that those R1b samples are from some closely related early Mongolian-period elites descended from the same Y-DNA line buried in what is now eastern Mongolia, not that they are descended from Genghis Khan. The paper is too sensationalist in its interpretations of the results.Onur Dincerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05041378853428912894noreply@blogger.com
