The usual grouping would put Italic and Celtic languages in a subgrouping together apart from Germanic, Balto-Slavic and Irianian languages. But seriously, the topics discussed in the book are very interesting and I think the tone and direction of the compiled authors are timely considering the rapidly developing genetic evidence. The two previous compendiums were very good, but this is a very strong finish to the recent trilogy.<br /><br />Rob said he got the ebook for 15 or so USD (?) (or Rob are you Australian?) in any case I recommend looking for a deal on Amazon books. I believe I recently saw it in the 15-20 USD range.
