Sure look forward to any information on this subject that comes out! Oh please post when it's available! I'm trying to piece together the migrations of my ancient Grandmothers from the Steppes. Yamnaya Cultue, Catacomb Culture, to Corded Ware Culture. Then in approx. 700 AD my maternal line was in the Balkans. Was it a migration of CWC south? Was it a migrations of the Ostrogoths? Or perhaps the Scythians or Sarmatians? Not Vucedol as they had mtDNA that reflects Beaker migrations. Oh wait wait and see! jv
I describe genetic Geneaology as like a microscope looking at something at different magnifications. Especially fun to pull the thread of a uniparental marker through time.
Researching CWC today and came across two GORGEOUS wooden bowls on feet from the BELL BEAKER CULTURE. Just stunning.jv http://www.museum-digital.de/san/index.php?t=objekt&oges=11140
