Ringheiligtum Pömmelte - SALZLANDKREIS

Ringheiligtum Pömmelte is a reconstruction of the "German Stonehenge" based on the archaeological findings.  It is more comparable to Woodhenge and is roughly contemporary.

The first culture to leave its materials here were the Corded Ware Culture, followed by Bell Beaker and then the Unetice.

  1. Love to hear your thoughts on how Unetice relates to the preceding and subsequent archaeological cultures.

    1. Late reply..was off the grid most of the weekend.

Naturally, most cultures have elements from the preceding cultures, if not in the largest part. Personally, I'd say that line of demarcation is especially thin between Late Beaker and many of its successors, like Unetice.
